What are digestive enzymes?
Digestive enzymes are certain substances contained in foods. They help to metabolize the food. Nature has forseen that our food is full of digestive enzymes. Certain fruits and vegetables in the raw state are packed with enzymes – provided they are ripe and fresh. However, this is no longer the case with our modern diet.
