Advice on the correct composition of meals is one of the pillars of a healthy lifestyle. Anyone who believes that one can neglect the material and subtle aspects of human nutrition is depriving oneself of the source of one’s own health.
Our genetic imprint, which results from our developmental history over the last millions of years, requires specific macro- and micronutrients in the best possible quality. Many of our so-called “civilization diseases”, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, arthrosis, rheumatism and gout, are the result of “false fuel”.
Many people believe that it is enough to eat only the best quality food from a health food store. This is true and important from a quality point of view, but it is far from sufficient.
There are truly adventurous diet and nutritional guidelines. One of the most serious mistakes is to replace fat with concentrated carbohydrates. No oil stove can be fired with coal and wood without being damaged. But the human body is a fat burning system.
The guidelines for a healthy, balanced diet are in my books. An optimal selection is made up of many factors. An important factor is the respective mineral content of the food. If there is a surplus of copper, no food containing copper should be eaten. In the case of a potassium deficiency, on the other hand, as many potassium-rich foods as possible should be on the menu. Information about this can only be obtained from a special hair mineral analysis and not from a blood test!
In my book “Die Säure des Lebens” (not translated into English) you can read special interviews and the guidelines of a diet against the “leaky gut” (Leaky Gut) and other informative information about sugar, vegan lifestyle and its pitfalls.
